The "blue duck" color came about when Mila Toledo saw the painting of Marie-Antoinette in Paris in the early '80s, entitled "Marie-Antoinette with a book", in which the queen wore a dress in this shade of blue. Today, it is the distinctive color of the Mila Toledo Paris jewelry brand.
